A Little More Effort Can Make A Big Difference
Action gives wings to your faith to fly. You will be amazed how things can turn around if you take some positive actions on your desires. The following stories can inspire you and challenge your faith.
““But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”
“And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’” Luke 15:17-21. (NKJV).
That was the prodigal son taking actions that changed his hopeless situation. You too can take some actions no matter how small it might be. Start with prayer; make that call or send an email. Talk to someone about that health condition. Register for that exam. Dare to put away that bitterness; believe in your abilities and build your confidence. Stop arguing, take another look at ways to go forward; your miracle could be nearer than you can imagine.
This can be your turning point.
The scripture says in Mark 5:25-34, “Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’”
And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. 33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” (NKJV).
That was another hopeless situation but the woman was determine to put in some more efforts to find solution to her health problem. Don’t give up.
The common thing about these two persons was that they to some actions.
Take some actions now.
