A Little More Effort Can Make A Big Difference

Action gives wings to your faith to fly. You will be amazed how things can turn around if you take some positive actions on your desires. The following stories can inspire you and challenge your faith.

““But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”

“And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’” Luke 15:17-21. (NKJV).

That was the prodigal son taking actions that changed his hopeless situation. You too can take some actions no matter how small it might be. Start with prayer; make that call or send an email. Talk to someone about that health condition. Register for that exam. Dare to put away that bitterness; believe in your abilities and build your confidence. Stop arguing, take another look at ways to go forward; your miracle could be nearer than you can imagine.

This can be your turning point.

The scripture says in Mark 5:25-34, “Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”

Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’”

And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. 33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your  affliction.” (NKJV).
That was another hopeless situation but the woman was determine to put in some more efforts to find solution to her health problem. Don’t give up.

The common thing about these two persons was that they to some actions.

Take some actions now.

Deliverance from Ancestral Curses

It is the will of God that you are delivered from ‘ancestral curses’. ‘Ancestral curses’, mean curses, limitations, bondage, demonic embargoes, any negative tendencies or evils arising from what anyone in your ancestral linage has done that has brought retribution and judgment against you. (read also Exodus 34:7)

These curses work in different ways to deprive and limit people from enjoying many blessings they ought to have freely accessed if not for a curse that is operating against them.

The following scriptures expressly show the will of God for your deliverance from those curses and evils; if you believe. I urge to read the words careful and claim your deliverance, now.

Please read also 2 Cor. 5:17. This is true of the New Testament believers. It is important to know that revelation of the word of God brings the truth and the truth sets people free.

Ezekiel 18: 1 – 4, 18 – 32, states: (emphasis are mine)

1 “The word of the Lord came to me again, saying, “What do you mean when you use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying:

‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, And the children’s teeth are set on edge’?

As I live,” says the Lord God, “you shall no longer use this proverb in Israel.

“Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die.image

18 As for his father, Because he cruelly oppressed, Robbed his brother by violence, And did what is not good among his people, Behold, he shall die for his iniquity.

19 “Yet you say, ‘Why should the son not bear the guilt of the father?’ Because the son has done what is lawful and right, and has kept all My statutes and observed them, he shall surely live. 20 The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

21 “But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 22 None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live. 23 Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?

24 “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.

25 “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair? 26 When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies. 27 Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive. 28 Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 29 Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ O house of Israel, is it not My ways which are fair, and your ways which are not fair?

30 “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord God. “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. 31 Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live”

Receive your deliverance today and live a happy and fulfilled life.

The Ultimate Power – works in us

The power of God is the ultimate power and works mightily on our behalf. I am going to set out some scriptures to stir up and encourage readers to explore the limitless possibilities of this power. The power works wonders in the lives of all who believe in God and who are ready to trust him to obtain the riches of his grace.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” Eph. 3:20-21 (NKJV)

This power is superior to all powers; it is earned, though it need be, to fulfil the divine mandate and empower those that believe; to permanently demolish the accusation of the devil, and be an everlasting banner for the whole world, and a guarantee for those who trust the Lord. It has an aim and object. You can activate your faith

“To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen”

Rev. 1: 5-6.(NKJV)

Jesus says “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty” Rev. 1:8 (NKKJV).

The scripture says of him,

“who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” Phil. 2:6-11) (NKJV).

People don’t have to believe in God to be subjected to the ultimate power that is in Jesus Christ, which he gracious gave to us. Jesus doesn’t use his name like we do; for example, he does need to end his prayer with “in Jesus name.” the power is passed to us.

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover” Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV)

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:19-20 (NKJV)

John 16:23-24, “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full” (NKJV)

What you need to do to enjoy this power is to act as these words demands that you do; believe and trust God and insist on it when the devil brings arguments. The devil will surely confront you and contest the scriptures with you. He did that to Jesus too.

This power is the ultimate power.

“And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever:

For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, “What have You done?” Daniel 4:34-35 (NKJV)

Let this power work for you.

God will see you through – Be Calm!

The story of Joseph is a great leading to the blessings that God has for you; you will read some of it in this message. I have reproduced a full text of that part of the scriptures so that you can follow through without distractions. If you can relate to this truth, then appropriate it and let God work it out in your life. God will see you through.

“Now when they saw him afar off, even before he came near them, they conspired against him to kill him. Then they said to one another, “Look, this dreamer is coming! Come therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit; and we shall say, ‘Some wild beast has devoured him.’ We shall see what will become of his dreams!” You can activate your faith

But Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands, and said, “Let us not kill him.” And Reuben said to them, “Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit which is in the wilderness, and do not lay a hand on him”—that he might deliver him out of their hands, and bring him back to his father.

So it came to pass, when Joseph had come to his brothers, that they stripped Joseph of his tunic, the tunic of many colors that was on him. hen they took him and cast him into a pit. And the pit was empty; there was no water in it.

And they sat down to eat a meal. Then they lifted their eyes and looked, and there was a company of Ishmaelites, coming from Gilead with their camels, bearing spices, balm, and myrrh, on their way to carry them down to Egypt. So Judah said to his brothers, “What profit is there if we kill our brother and conceal his blood? Come and let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and let not our hand be upon him, for he is our brother and our flesh.” And his brothers listened.  Then Midianite traders passed by; so the brothers pulled Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. And they took Joseph to Egypt” Gen.31:18-29 (NKJV).

The brothers of Joseph were “blind” in the spirit and were all out to do evil to a man who they did nothing to them, they did not understand him and cared less if he lived or died.

Do you know that Joseph was never a King or a Judge (or anything of such) in Israel? So where was their envy? Darkness rules the hearts of evil people and blinds them.

Evil does not always start nor end with outsiders; many major evil plots always have an insider! It is common with believers to be vulnerable to dangers perpetrated from close quarters. The word of God never said we should be ‘as harmless as a dove and as stupid as the sheep’. It says, “to be as harmless as a dove and as wise as the serpent.” Matt. 10:16 (KJV). Be warned, it did not say we should be serpents!

Always remember that God is in control and Psalm 121:3-8.

“He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.

Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand.

The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore”

Don’t be fooled to believe that your destiny is in the hands of those who hate you and who would like to give “testimony” in their ‘gatherings’ of how their “god” destroyed their enemy. (meaning you – they are liars).  You are never going to be destroyed.

The facts are in the promises of God concerning you. God will do anything possible to ensure that his promises concerning you are fulfilled. That is always his way of doing things.

Joseph was actually set on course to fulfil his destiny. God was watching and was in perfect control. All that Joseph passed through were part of the plan. The brothers played into God’s plan. Don’t despair, you are on course to your rising and glory.

The revelations to Joseph were all fulfilled. You will fulfil destiny. No man can stop you.

Trust God, believe his promises to you and stay focussed; don’t allow fear and frustration overwhelm you. “the dragon shall not prevail.” Rev. 12:7-8. (KJV)

“If the enemy comes in one way, will flee in seven ways.” Dt. 28:7 (KJV)

Stop comparing yourself with others, mind your own business and walk in your own path. Serve the Lord and ‘you will not serve your enemies’ Dt.28:47-48.

Enjoy the grace of God. “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”

What you believe strongly in your heart, is what you will become. God bless you.

Here goes the year 2017!

There will many things to ‘worry’ about in 2017 in every part of the world. New President in United States of America, Brexit and elections in Europe, health concerns all over the world, poverty in third world countries, wars, terrorism concerns, cyber-attacks, educational and personal challenges.

You can choose to make progress or sit back, worry and complain about many things you cannot possibly do anything about.nls-law-fair-25th-january

Taking things in bits might help. You can start from the things you can handle and then attempt to do the more challenging tasks. Why not try to step out of your comfort zone, it might pay off, you know?

Whatever you choose to do, the right information will help. Don’t neglect to seek help from experts and good sources. Seek help when you need one; for example, if you need help with mental health problems, bullying and domestic violence.

Forecasts and unstable world economy and politics will continue; get going and do the best you can for your community.

How is corruption defined?

I hope this message meets you well and uplift your soul and spirit. I hope it sets you up or encourage you to continue to engineer social change in your community, be it physical or spiritual.

Actually it is a question and you are going to help to set thing in order, that is, writing this piece better than anybody can and believing that generation of yours who read it now and in future will be proud of you.

I saw a definition of corruption online and it reads:

 “corruption:

1. dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery.

synonyms: dishonesty, dishonest dealings, unscrupulousness, deceit, deception, duplicity, double-dealing, fraud, fraudulence, misconduct, lawbreaking, crime, criminality, delinquency, wrongdoing, villainy; bribery, bribing, subornation, venality, graft, extortion, jobbery, profiteering; payola; informalcrookedness, shadiness, sleaze, palm-greasing; malfeasance, misfeasance; archaicknavery; raremalversation

2. the process by which a word or expression is changed from its original state to one regarded as erroneous or debased.

“a record of a word’s corruption”

synonyms: alteration, falsification, doctoring, manipulation, manipulating, fudging, adulteration, debasement, degradation, abuse, subversion, misrepresentation, misapplication; rarevitiation”

So who is corrupt?

I have heard people use the  word ‘corruption’, exclusively irrespective of what is the real picture around them.

I have an interesting Bible passage that I will encourage you to read; it is like a movie story; actually it was a horror.

Judges chapters 19 to chapter 21.

I found Judges 20:17-21, very disturbing when I read it many years ago until the Lord explained it to me.  The explanation is in  Judges 20:26-35.

In Judges 20:17-21. God told the Israelites to fight the Benjamits, but they lost, they were beaten mercilessly by the Benjamites. However, it was a different thing entirely in Num. 20:26-35, where the Benjamites were beaten almost to extinction.

You know what the Lord told me, sinners can’t judge sinners!  A further study of Judges 2:10- 21, will show you how the Isrealites lived. They liked like sinners because they were. Everyone did whatever they pleased irrespective of what the law says or who is hurt. They were lawless, corrupt, godless, unmerciful, you just name it.

We can make a difference in our societies. This is a tough call and daring but we can. Every little step counts.

How do we define corruption? Exclusively? Some of our countries are so rich in religion and can comfortably export it but it has not imparted their national live. It is just like where “everybody does what they like”. People are only called “sinners when they are discover; actually sin is sin when it is committed, not just when sinners are found out.

It is not about what my friends and I thinks about someone or a situation but about what is right. If the Bible is not your standard what is? How do you interpret the scriptures?

Let the Lord be Lord. God bless you.

What is in your heart – you will become just that!

You are limited by the thoughts of your heart and the words of your mouth. Be careful! It may happen now or later but it certainly happens that what you allow to dominate your thoughts and talk about especially concerning your life and your situations are just going to become your reality. The scripture says in Mathew 9:920-22,
“And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.”
This woman concluded in her heart what she wanted out of her encounter with Jesus and she got it.
It is important that you monitor your thoughts and your words. Don’t say things you have not thought through. Watch what people say about you and reject every evil word spoken to you or about you.
The word of God says:
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” Isaiah 54:18 (KJV)
Jesus is our righteousness and evil words of people against us will amount to nothing and will be frustrated. This is our heritage.

God bless you.

You are redeemed – your ‘curse’ has been destroyed

Hear me now and live with it, you are delivered in Christ Jesus. The word of God says so; live with it. The scripture says:

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Gal.3:13-14.
Don’t let it slip from your fingers. You are blessed, if you have Jesus as your saviour and Lord.

You are privileged to come to God for forgiveness when you miss it. Don’t panic. The scripture says,

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1John 1:9

Believe God today and enjoy a good day. Cast all your cares on him.

God bless you. Have a great day.
