Meet the Comforter

“When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, who, then, can be said? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” Matt. 19:25-26 (KJV)

The disciple had a traditional believe that suggests that “do gooders” and the “religious” will gain fast access to the kingdom of God and enjoy special privileges from God.  Jesus punctured that superstition and that gave  his followers a great concern, and that was the root of this statement.

This scripture applies to every area of the Christian faith. ” With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” Matt,19:26. There are a lot of things that are outside the scope of people. It is such that all the people you know cannot offer any help; but God can. It doesn’t matter how big or how long it has stayed, God can fix it.

Most times that answers to our prayers delay in coming, it is important to know that God is up to something. Our role in it is to persist in prayers; always bearing in mind that the scripture says that  “Whosoever believes in him shall not be ashamed” Rom. 10:11 (KJV).

It does not matter what you are up against, God can fix it. People may not know how you can get out of the situation but God knows and he says “cast not away, therefore, your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward” Heb.1035 (KJV)
