Meet the Comforter

Battling with difficulties in prayers can be challenging. That is why praying has been liken to wrestling and warfare. You can be stretched to your “limit” and a breaking point. Sometimes the “night” can be very long.

We have a great God who is a problem solver. He can handle whatever thing you are going through. He says “Behold, I am the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for me?” Jer.32:27.  There is nothing too difficult for God. Luke 1: 37 says, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

This understanding should find root in our hearts. The pressures of life can push real hard but always remember that when great problems meet a great God, there is nothing to worry about.

You must never succumb to the fear that suggests that there are things that God cannot do. It is exciting to know that God actually does uncommon things. If for instance you are trusting God for a million pounds and you cannot recollect hearing anyone who has received such a miracle, get really excited, God is able to give it to you. The virgin birth was not common; turning water to wine was not common; raising the dead was not common; the collapse of the walls of Jericho was not common and neither was crossing the red sea. Our God makes big challenges look like nothing.

  • Keep your faith and expectation high.
  • Stay calm and avoid every negative feeling.
  • Watch out for indications of what God wants done.
  • Read scriptures and books that will encourage your faith.
  • Stay away from every negative environment.

Stay blessed.

  1. I have always found that praying in the Spirit is much easier than trying to pray yourself. With that said, I have seen many times what God can do that others have said was impossible. So I say a huge amen to this! God bless and keep you, Teresa
